The northbound span of the Interstate Bridge, that crosses the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon to Vancouver, Washington, was closed Sept. 19-27, 2020 to replace mechanical parts that help lift and lower the bridge. The left lane of southbound I-5 approaching the bridge will remain closed around-the-clock through Oct. 2, while a new median barrier is installed.

Heavy traffic, congestion, and long delays are expected in the region during construction, as well as days prior and following. For more information, follow the link below.

Vancouver's Closest Casino: ilani

Ready for a night out of gaming, dining, and dancing? The Cowlitz Tribe’s new casino—located just 20-minutes north of Vancouver off of Interstate 5—offers entertainment options guaranteed to impress everyone from dining denizens and gaming pros to concert-goers and craft drink enthusiasts.

Meaning ‘sing,’ the name ilani is a fitting stamp of Cowlitz culture on a world class venue. The resort boasts ground-floor views of three mountain peaks, and the heritage of the Cowlitz sings throughout the 368,000-square-foot space with salmon sculptures and a map of the tribe’s historic territory.

Eat at Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse or Line & Lure’s cozy patio before catching a free concert at the Muze lounge. Check out upcoming events on their website. Other entertainment and retail options include a locally sourced sushi restaurant, a globally-inspired small plates bar, and a women’s clothing boutique.
