The northbound span of the Interstate Bridge, that crosses the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon to Vancouver, Washington, was closed Sept. 19-27, 2020 to replace mechanical parts that help lift and lower the bridge. The left lane of southbound I-5 approaching the bridge will remain closed around-the-clock through Oct. 2, while a new median barrier is installed.

Heavy traffic, congestion, and long delays are expected in the region during construction, as well as days prior and following. For more information, follow the link below.

Commitment to Equity

Visit Vancouver USA is committed to working with our community to fight systemic racism and injustice.

We have always held diversity as a value and tried to reflect that in the content we produce. But we also realize we can do better. We must do better.

We are heartbroken at the continual injustices experienced by Black communities, LGBTQIA+ communities and People of Color.  We realize it is impossible to understand what we do not all experience ourselves, and that listening to those affected is a good place to start.

We can and will more accurately integrate local underrepresented communities into our daily work.
