Live music, outdoor movies, themed dinners, and other special events make the vineyards of Clark County one of the first places visitors should look for a flavorful swirl of local culture. Whether you make it a girls’ night out or a romantic evening getaway, there’s not a day that you can’t find fun amidst the vines, and action that goes beyond the tasting rooms.

FESTIVALS & FAIRS

Country Life FairCounty Life Fair at Pomeroy Farm – Late April

Listed on the National Register of Historic Properties, the Pomeroy Living History Farm is a spectacle in itself. Add some goats to pet, an herb and plant sale, and farm demonstrations to the mix to get a must-visit event that transports you to old times. Kids can learn how to plant a seed, make a candle, and can experience a hayride before touring the historic log house. Parents can be found at on-site Pomeroy Cellars.

Barn Bash at Heisen House Vineyards – Late June

Celebrating the ongoing restoration work of the historic Heisen Barn, this bash features live music, food, kid-friendly games and crafts, local vendors, and, of course, wine tasting. As one of the oldest barns left standing in Clark County, it was built almost entirely by hand with an axe and ox, and continues to receive updates that will keep it upright for 100 years to come. Heisen House also hosts a Crush Fest, Sunflower Festival, Lavender Festival, and Sunday Live Music Jams throughout the summer.
