Events

Our calendar is full of signature events, including the Recycled Arts Festival, the Vancouver Brewfest, Independence Day at Fort Vancouver, Three Days of Aloha, and one of the local’s favorites, the Sausage Festival. One of the biggest parties in town is the Clark County Fair. Known here as “The big one,” this August event draws the usual fair favorites: rides, food, and animals but also features some of the best rock and country bands around. Livablity.com even rates the fair as one of the Top 10 in the Nation!

And those are just the special events! Live music fills the air at the Vancouver Jazz and Wine Festival, the Birdfest and Bluegrass Festival, the Summer Concert series at Esther Short Park, and headliner bands playing at the Sleep Country Amphitheater.

With our community’s history, many events focus on just that—history. Vintage Baseball, Lantern Tours, and Campfires and Candlelight are all re-enactment events arranged by the Fort Vancouver National Trust.

Farmers Markets, First Friday Artwalks, fun runs, pub crawls…what ISN’T going on?
