BUREAU ANNOUNCES 2010 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
VANCOUVER, Wash. – February 2, 2009 - Southwest Washington Convention & Visitors Bureau announces the newly elected directors and officers of their 2009 Board of Directors. Effective January 1, 2009, Gerry Link, General Manager of Hilton Vancouver Washington, assumed the position of Board Chair. Alison Hite, General Manager of SpringHill Suites, assumed the position of Vice Chair, and Brian McClary, Director of Operations for The Heathman Lodge, assumed the position of Secretary/Treasurer. Carla Rise, General Manager of Residence Inn, Kari Jonassen, General Manager of Homewood Suites, and Dan Himes, General Manager of McGrath’s Fish House joined the Board as newly elected directors.

VANCOUVER, Wash. – October 12, 2009 - According to a study just released by the Washington State Department of Commerce, visitors to Clark County spent a record $421 million in 2008.
