Washougal MX Park is located in the Southwest Washington amid a forest of trees near the Washougal River and the Columbia River at the bottom of the mountain. Washougal MX Park opened in April of 1972 and has hosted a round of AMA Pro Motocross Championship every year since, with the exception of 1980, the year Mt. St. Helens erupted. Washougal is known as one of the most scenic circuits in the entire sport, and it is often used for television commercials and photo shoots by manufacturers and sponsors.
