Our Mission

Our mission is to increase convention and visitor business by promoting the Vancouver USA region.

The Vancouver USA Regional Tourism Office is a non-profit organization funded through a local tourism promotion area that levies a charge collected by lodging establishments throughout Clark County. Our main objective is to improve visibility and create awareness and visitation to the region. With the support of key hospitality industry and tourism leaders, we are developing an image of Vancouver Washington that makes us an attractive and desirable destination.

Making it Happen

With the combined effort of our board and community stakeholders, we are proactively marketing Vancouver Washington to potential visitors, meeting planners, group tour operators, and business travelers.

Affecting the Bottom Line

• In 2009, annual travel expenditures in Clark County equaled $364 million.
• The travel industry contributed more than $99 million in travel related job earnings to Clark County in 2009
• Over $27 million in local, regional and state taxes are generated here every year through tourism
